Midosuji was going to dispose of him all along and it took him THAT long to realise it - no wonder he never had the respect of a captain! But to say that "Midousuji is wrong" is the same as declaring that the sky is yellow. Midousuji is NEVER wrong on a strategy! He predicts strategies better than anybody else! Looking forward to see how everyone breaks down and Midosuji passes them all

Kyoko Fushimi is not a team. It is a master and his slaves. The reason why this team concept is stupid in the first place is obviously because it doesn't make any sense that so many guys would want to be enslaved by Midousuji. Why would they wish for such a fate? Some people are masochists, but this is not the majority. Even so, Midousuji seems to have a bottomless reserve of slaves. Whatever happens, he will always have 5 guys to volunteer in slavery. I guess this is why the characterization for individual team members is so bad: because you can't build a house on sand. If the fundation is f*cked up, everything you build upon it will be, too.

I finally came to the definitive conclusion that the whole series would be better -for me at least- if Kyoto Fushimi never existed.

previous episode says, the more the bikers, the faster the acceleration. but here they broke formation and send 1-2-2...

also the creepy biker, how can he get into the lead pack??? if the 2 top teams are racing to be 1st. meaning they bike fast and gain distance.. by the time creepy biker catch up to them, he should be as exhausted as the lead pack, coz to catch up means to speed up, to speed up means to get exhausted.

They are doing cat and mouse strategies, the reason they send one or two at a time upfront is to urge the other to keep them in check. This is what Midousuji meant by having two powerful teams will disrupt control over the race.

What Hakone Academy is trying to do is to create a possible 2 man breakaway while the rest of their team control the pace of their group. But when Sohoku also sent 2 people to chase after their initial attack, their advantage is gone and they're forced to catch up and regroup with the people they sent to attack. This will normally go on until a successful attack goes or they might just inch toward the finish line for a bunch sprint(in real life anyway it's unlikely that a bunch sprint will happen in an anime lol). This is the tactics that gives rise to the situation Midousuji anticipates, which is a situation where the front group is fighting over control because they think the winner is down to them but in reality they don't know that there is someone lurking from behind.
